Boom boom. Boom boom my heart was pumping so fast I could barely breathe.
Last Tuesday I was in the Burnham School rugby team. The people that were playing were Kalani, Whetu, Harly, Brodie, Tama and Tradyn. We were at the Lincoln domain for rugby or netball for fun.
We didn't have a lot of people but Clearvew gave us two people called Ben and Eddy. Our coach told us to run up the hill and back with us passing the ball. We all went in a straight line and jogged through the green, short grass to the top of the hill. I saw the ball going my way and I put my hands out and shouted out "Tama!" He twisted the ball and past it the ball was twirling threw the air and I put my hand right in front of it and caught the ball. It felt like leather that got soaked.
(Beeeeeeeeeeeeeep) my heart was pumping even faster because its our turn we played against Weedons and we thought we would get waisted. Weedon School had the ball and one of them kicked the ball with little peaces of dirt flying everywhere. but the ball dropped and Kalani caught it and sprinted down the field and dogged all the players except one. he grabbed Kalani's shirt an tackled him down Tama was there so he ripped the ball off Kalani and boled every players that was in his way but it was too much and passed it to Tradyn and puff he's sprinting for the goal and dived and put his hand with the ball down. !!!Beeeeeeeep!!! Try we were jumping around and cheering but it wasn't over. Kalani got the ball and got reddy to kick it. Kalani had a big breath and Boom! The ball was flying threw the smooth air and back down right in the hands of one of the Weedon player. The ball was bouncing all around his arms wile he try's to grab it but Eddy grabbed the ball and try's to get passed all of them but he drives them backwards and passed it to ben and every one was cheering for him and he put the ball down beep! Try! After a phew minutes later Beeeeeeep! Beeeeeeeep! The game was finished and it was hard.
We played a lot of games and they were hard but we were on our last game we were playing against Rolleston. clearvew gave us more players called Liam and rian. Eddie and Ben had to leave. Any ways we walked all the way to the field that Rolleston was on the coach gave us the ball and kalani kicks it again. A player caught the ball and Tama tackled him the ball went flying in the air and Tradyn picked the ball and ran he passed It to Rian and he bold right threw all of them and passed it to kalani and he put the ball down beeeeep! Try and we were too exhausted or tired to cheer but kalani kicked the ball lightly and a player caught the ball again but harly ran up to him and tryed to taceld him but harly got ran over he was ok cause he got back up like noting happened Tradyn snatched the ball off him and he ran but got taceld. Beeeep! Try .what! I was amazed he put the ball down on the try line.
at the end of the day "this was the most challenging game I've ever played" I mumbled.
